A practical beginning
Since 1981, the Lithonia Lighting story has centered on a familiar project gap: a drawing may show where a fixture belongs, but it does not automatically explain distribution, visual comfort, ceiling access, electrical compatibility, or future service. Our role is to make those considerations easier to discuss before a submittal reaches the field.
That approach brings different disciplines into one useful sequence. The designer describes the task and atmosphere. The electrical engineer confirms voltage, controls, emergency behavior, and code context. The contractor brings mounting and access reality. Procurement asks about configuration, documentation, schedule, and continuity. Each perspective improves the selection.

Light that supports participation
Lighting affects how safely people move, how comfortably they read and work, and whether a shared room can adapt to different activities. Our community-minded work emphasizes understandable guidance: identify the task, verify the installation, and avoid promising performance without the room geometry and photometric evidence.
Across 58 served markets, our 480+ person organization supports conversations shaped by local requirements and product availability. UL, CE, and RoHS references apply only where the selected configuration and destination make them relevant; final compliance remains subject to current documentation and the authority having jurisdiction.
